High-Level Plenary: Global Support to Civil Society

Restrictions on civic space are multiplying – and the world is coming together to respond.  Global initiatives have emerged to counter the crackdown through development, diplomacy, and the adoption of international norms.  The Global Forum’s High-Level Plenary will showcase key multilateral initiatives, examining their effectiveness and potential to help turn the tide against shrinking civic space. The Plenary will begin with a keynote address by Charlotte Petri Gornitzka, Director-General of Sida.
