The ACHPR’s Study Group on Freedom of Association and Assembly drafted a report on the state of the freedom of association and assembly in Africa, which was adopted by the ACHPR in May 2014.  The Study Group has now turned its attention to drafting implementation guidelines that will serve as a basis for national legislation. This session will provide participants with a unique opportunity to provide input into the guidelines.
