2E: In the Shadow of Counter-Terrorism: Debunking Government Restrictions on CSOs FULL
Limited Capacity seats available

Governments around the world often impose restrictions on CSOs that are justified as preventing terrorism and terrorist financing. Whether introduced as stand-alone laws or disguised in various administrative provisions, such restrictions curtail the ability of CSOs to conduct activities or raise funds.  Participants in this session will learn about the global recommendations for counter-terrorism measures, as well as CSO responses from around the world, thereby increasing their abilities to counter unjustified restrictions.
