Fawzi Guleid is a democracy and governance specialist with 25 years’ experience in community organizing, advocacy, coalition building, and capacity building of civil society organizations in post conflict and transitional countries.  He conducts eight-week online knowledge-building courses on the role and responsibilities of the UN Special Rapporteur (UNSR) on the rights to freedom of peaceful assembly and of association for Arabic speaking CSO leaders and activists. He is a skilled facilitator, trainer, and mentor. Fawzi has a BA in Political Science and an MS in Nonprofit and Association Management. He is fluent in Arabic, Somali and English.
