Federica Donati

Federica Donati has been a human rights officer at the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights for the past ten years. In this role, she has worked on the Asia-Pacific team and supported special procedures mechanisms of the UN Human Rights Council. Currently she coordinates a unit that supports a number of these mechanisms, including the Special Rapporteur on the rights to freedom of assembly and association. Prior to joining the OHCHR, Ms. Donati worked on children’s rights at UNICEF India and at Save the Children UK. She is lawyer with a specialization in international human rights law from the University of Essex (UK).
