Ms. Nieva is a lawyer and regional specialist in Latin America.  She has worked with ICNL since 2007.  One component of Ms. Nieva’s work has been to promote university instruction in CSO Law.  Ms. Nieva organized and convened the 2013 Regional Conference on Teaching Civil Society Law, featuring professors from 15 countries throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.  She has helped partners design and teach courses in CSO Law in Mexico, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Bolivia, among other countries, and edited a compilation of articles on the subject.
